पटना: बिहार के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री लालू प्रसाद यादव ने I.N.D.I गठबंधन में शामिल कांग्रेस को सीधे चेतावनी देते हुए कहा कि अगर जो सीटें ऑफर की गईं हैं वो मंजूर नहीं हैं तो आप अपना फैसला लेने के लिए आजाद हैं। इस वक्त राजद ने कांग्रेस को समस्तीपुर, सासाराम, पटना साहिब, मुजफ्फरपुर, मधेपुरा और किशनगंज सीट देने का मन बनाया है, जबकि कांग्रेस 9 सीट से पीछे हटने के लिए तैयार नहीं है।

राजद और कांग्रेस के बीच सीट बंटवारे का मुद्दा अभी भी उतना ही विवादित है, जितना कि पहले था। कांग्रेस ने कई सीटों पर अपना दावा जताया है, जबकि राजद की मांग भी उससे कम नहीं है। इस दिशा में दोनों पक्षों के बीच खींचतान देखने को मिल रही है।

In a significant political development, former Chief Minister of Bihar, Lalu Prasad Yadav, issued a direct warning to the Congress, a constituent of the I.N.D.I alliance, stating that if the allocated seats are not acceptable, they are free to make their decision. According to sources, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has proposed to offer the Congress seats in Samastipur, Sasaram, Patna Sahib, Muzaffarpur, Madhepura, and Kishanganj. However, Congress is not prepared to step back from its demand for 9 seats.

The seat-sharing negotiations between Congress and RJD initially hit a snag over Aurangabad, Begusarai, Katihar, and Purnia. Interestingly, where Congress exerted pressure, Lalu Prasad Yadav fielded his own candidates without seat distribution. In Aurangabad, Congress was preparing to nominate Nikhil Kumar, but Lalu Yadav fielded Abhay Kushwaha as his candidate. Before that, Lalu Yadav assigned his party symbol to Abhay Kushwaha in Aurangabad. Then, Congress wished to field Kanhaiya Kumar from Begusarai. Before that, Lalu Yadav gave this seat to the CPI. Here, CPI candidate Avadhesh Kumar Rai is contesting. Pappu Yadav merged his party and chose to contest on the Congress ticket. Before that, RJD nominated Bima Bharati from Purnia. Congress wants to contest the election with Tarik Anwar from Katihar, but according to information, there will soon be a settlement between RJD and Makkpa. This seat will go to either RJD or Makkpa. In this case, now there is no other option for Congress than to take these seats. Otherwise, in Bihar, Congress may have to adopt the path of walking alone.
