प्रयागराज: भाजपा का पहला प्रत्याशी सूची घोषित, चुनावी युद्ध का पर्दाफाश
प्रयागराज: भारतीय जनता पार्टी (भाजपा) ने आगामी लोकसभा चुनावों के लिए अपनी पहली सूची घोषित की है, जिसमें 195 प्रत्याशियों के नाम शामिल हैं। यूपी से 51 प्रत्याशीयों की सूची को लेकर जलवा हो रहा है, लेकिन प्रयागराज में भाजपा ने पांच सांसदीय सीटों के लिए अभी तक केवल दो प्रत्याशियों का ऐलान किया है। पार्टी ने फिलहाल वर्तमान सांसद संगम लाल गुप्ता को प्रतापगढ़ सीट से और साध्वी निरंजन ज्योति को फतेहपुर सीट से प्रत्याशी बनाया है।
प्रयागराज की राजनीतिक दृष्टि से बातचीत में है कि बाकी सीटों के लिए कौन-कौन से प्रत्याशी उतरेंगे, इस पर सस्पेंस बना हुआ है। जो कि फूलपुर, इलाहाबाद और कौशांबी की हैं। बीजेपी क्या केशरी देवी पटेल को फूलपुर सीट से बनाएगी, जहां उन्होंने 2019 में 1,71,968 वोटों के अंतर से जीत हासिल की थी, यह बड़े से बड़े परिस्थितियों में देखा जा रहा है। इसके अलावा, मौजूदा सांसद प्रोफेसर रीता बहुगुणा जोशी को इलाहाबाद सीट के लिए क्या बनाया जाएगा, यह भी सस्पेंस में है।
रहस्यमयी रूप से, सांसद संजय मिश्र, फॉर्मर ब्यूरोक्रेट और IRS आईआरएस अधिकारी, इलाहाबाद सीट से राजनीतिक क्षेत्र में कदम रख सकते हैं। प्रधानमंत्री मोदी की तीसरी कार्यकाल को यादगार बनाने के लिए, नए चेहरों और गतिविधियों को परिचय करवाने के लिए, मिश्र को एक सक्रिय रूप से राजनीतिक मैदान में उतरने का सुझाव दिया जा सकता है।

Prayagraj: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released its first list of 195 candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. While 51 candidates from Uttar Pradesh have been announced, the spotlight is on Prayagraj, where BJP has declared candidates for only two out of five parliamentary seats. The party has chosen to field the incumbent MPs Sangam Lal Gupta from Pratapgarh and Sadhvi Niranjana Jyoti from Fatehpur.
The political landscape in Prayagraj is abuzz with discussions about the candidates for the remaining constituencies – Phulpur, Allahabad, and Kaushambi. The suspense revolves around whether the BJP will retain Keshari Devi Patel from Phulpur, where she secured victory in 2019 with a margin of 1,71,968 votes. Meanwhile, the incumbent MP Professor Rita Bahuguna Joshi is awaiting confirmation for Allahabad’s parliamentary seat.
Intriguingly, speculations are rife that Sanjay Mishra, former bureaucrat and IRS officer, might enter the political arena by contesting from Allahabad. Sanjay Mishra, originally from Prayagraj, has an impressive track record, having served as the Director of the Enforcement Directorate (ED). His tenure witnessed the rigorous pursuit of cases against influential leaders, earning him accolades. The Modi government extended his service three times due to his impactful contributions. Although Sanjay Mishra is not actively engaged in politics at present, there are indications that PM Modi might persuade him to contest, offering significant responsibilities in the third term.
Kaushambi is another constituency where the current MP Vinod Sonkar could face competition from an external candidate. While there is a buzz about the Samajwadi Party’s Shailendra Kumar’s candidature, the BJP might introduce a new face to challenge him.
With the BJP striving to field candidates strategically, considering caste and regional equations, the release of names for each constituency is highly anticipated. The party is projecting an optimistic outlook, eyeing victory in all 80 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh, demonstrating its determination and focused approach in the upcoming elections.
